The Kremer Pigmente Historical Inks Set contains dyes and materials for making your own ink, including: walnut ink, indigo (synthetic) blue ink, carmine (cochineal) ink and imperial yellow ink. Includes booklet (#992424) with 11 historical ink recipes. Writing inks are made from natural and synthetic water-soluble dyes. They contain little or no gum arabic binder. The color intensity and luminosity of historical writing inks is unmatched by modern commercial products.
